I’m a broke college student. How should I propose like all epic in the romantic movies?

I’ve got maybe $1000 to spend so how can I propose like the most romantic way possible? The $1000 would be for traveling somewhere to propose or to hire people to perform or whatever, I don’t know whatever would be awesome. I already have an engagement ring. I need some romantic ideas that makes the Notebook look like some cheap sleazy motel hooker ha!

    First of all, those things are movies for a reason. Girls dont want guys to actually propose like that! It’s silly and a waste of money, especially if the girl knows you are rather poor. You just need to go out for a nice-ish dinner one night and begin having a conversation about your future together, and then pop the question. She’ll love it.

    My friend has asked some neighborhood girls to come to the house to sing christmas carols. When their finished their going to ask if she’ll marry him and he’s going to pull out the ring. Its so cute!

    For the funny person in your life. Try to write your own musical number and do an actual dance to it that talks about your want to marriage.

    For the romantic person: A place filled with their favorite items or desires like flowers. Some people like flowers.

    Before you do this, ask yourself, is this girl the kind of girl who LOVES romantic gestures? If not, go low key, take her to dinner and put the ring in her champange!

    I say take her somewhere that fits her personality…
    If she loves nature, take her to a natural monument
    Animals… a zoo
    Partying… a nightclub
    Etc etc
    and then incorporate the proposal into this!

    I think it would be cool if you guys went to the zoo, and you go one of the animals to give her the ring….

    or… take her to the theatre, and then get one of the characters to come down from the stage and give her the ring!

    If you want to go on the romantic route then I would suggest a place that means something to you two. Maybe the place you first meet, where your first kiss was, something like that. Most women don’t want the movie marry me scenes, they want something that will be special to them. The first restaurant you went to together, a park that you hung out it. I know, Christmas. Have her open all the presents and at the end, pop the question. You could be holding the box in your pocket and tell her that there is one more present that she hasn’t opened. Thank would be really romantic. I know that’s what I would like. Good luck and I hope you two are happy.

    You don’t have to spend a thousand dollars for a really romantic proposal. The most important thing is to let her know that you love her and want to spend the rest of your life with her. Be sure to tell her why you love her….write it down in a letter or poem for her to keep.

    for the romantic part ,buy 13 red roses and have them delivered with the thirteenth rose being fake,with a card saying “my love for you will die when the last of these roses die”.A fake rose will never die of course. and for the $1000 save it forn the divorse..
